Its displayed price is not evidence for this configuration. Confirm the full specification, adapter and return terms before paying.
Software support comes first
Ollama’s GPU documentation does not list the Radeon 780M in its current AMD ROCm support tables and describes additional support via Vulkan. Check the exact backend and OS; do not assume the integrated GPU will accelerate your model. We have not tested this configuration or measured CPU fallback performance for this article.
Model memory requirements depend on the model file, compression, context and application overhead. Installed system RAM is not all available to the model. Use the model-memory planning guide to budget system RAM and shared graphics memory separately from a dedicated GPU’s VRAM; leave room for the OS and application overhead.
There is no supported promise here that an unspecified mid-size model will respond in two seconds or replace a paid service.
