Considered Gear is run by Simplfico LLC. Some links here are affiliate links: if you buy through one, we might earn a small commission and it costs you nothing extra. It never changes what we recommend — the picks come from actually using this stuff and from the price and spec data we track.
What that means in practice
- Links to a retailer may carry an affiliate tag. If you buy after clicking one, Considered Gear may receive a commission. You pay the same price.
- We participate in the Amazon Associates Program as
consideredgea-20and may join other retailer and manufacturer programs over time. Links to Apple, Framework, eBay and manufacturer stores are currently plain links with no tag. - Product rankings and scores are set before any affiliate link is added. They come from hands-on testing and the data in our tracked database.
- Review units, when we accept them, are disclosed in the review itself. We do not accept payment for reviews or for placement in a buying guide.
Advertising
If display advertising is added in future it will be clearly labelled and kept separate from editorial content. Sponsored posts, if any, will be labelled "Sponsored" in the title and byline.
